Hello hello! Today I want to share the recipe for our current favorite loaf of bread that we make in the bread machine. Who knew making bread could take less than 10 minutes, cleanup included?! This has been our go-to recipe lately.

As a quick disclaimer, we don’t make a lot of sandwiches, and this recipe doesn’t make very stiff slices. It works just fine if you make an open-faced sandwich to eat with a fork! But we love this bread for toasting or just cutting off a piece to eat with a salad for lunch or alongside dinner. The texture and flavor are so yummy, I hope you enjoy it, too!
No bread machine? Check out the links below the recipe.

Everyday Bread with Freshly Milled Flour for the Bread Machine
Ingredients
- 405 g Hard Red Wheat Berries
- 80 g Kamut Berries also known as Khorasan
- 1½ cups Water
- 2 Tbsp Butter
- 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 3 Tbsp Honey
- 1½ tsp Salt
- 2 tsp Instant Yeast
Instructions
- Mill your flour. Let it cool for a couple minutes if it's warm.
- Add water, butter (can add it cold), olive oil, honey, and salt to your bread machine.
- Add your milled flour on top of the rest of the ingredients in the bread machine.
- Make a small well in the flour and add the yeast to the well.
- For best results, use a Custom Cycle on your bread maker. If you don't have a Custom Cycle, you can use a setting like 'Quick Wheat' or whatever cycle your manual says is for whole wheat bread. You will use a Quick cycle if you have the option since you've used Instant Yeast. Here are the Custom Cycle settings:• Rest: 10 min • Knead: 20 min• Shape: off• Rise 1: 45 min• Rise 2: 12 min• Rise 3: off• Bake: 45 min• Warm: off
- Remove the bread from the pan as soon as it's done baking, or moisture may gather in the pan and make the crust soggy.
- Enjoy!

Can you please convert recipe into ounces?

I don’t use ounces personally, but you should be able to use an online calculator to convert to ounces :)
