Today I’m sharing our go-to, tried-and-true, favorite freshly milled flour recipes. Once you find your favorites, you can make them on repeat to make sure your family is getting all the benefits of consuming FMF! I wanted to share the recipes we’ve loved on repeat!
- Everyday Bread in the Bread Machine
- Pancakes
- Waffles
- Chocolate Chip Cookies
- 4-Ingredient Baguettes
- Cream of Wheat
- Pizza Dough
- Pretzels
- Drop Biscuits – from Sue Becker’s Red Cookbook
- Cheese and Herb Drop Biscuits from Sue Becker’s Home Ground Flour cookbook
- Basic Rolls from Sue Becker’s Home Ground Flour cookbook
- Bagels from Sue Becker’s Home Ground Flour cookbook
I’m still playing around with Tortillas, Naan, and Muffins… I will update this list when we find our favorites!
My favorite places to find recipes are the Grains in Small Places website (she also has a cookbook, which contains the printed versions of the recipes on her site), Sue Becker’s Home Ground Flour cookbook, and Sue Becker’s Red Cookbook.
One thing I should note is that you can absolutely use your regular recipes and just make them with freshly milled flour. However, just note you may need to make some adjustments to the liquid or flour amounts.
If you have freshly milled flour recipes you love, please share them in the comments! Happy baking!
